This fountain was made possible with support from the Ontario Arts Council. It explores the idea of water, a vital resource, being turned into a commodity. By recreating disposable plastic bottles using valuable materials like glass, steel, and bronze, it highlights the irony of water being sold back to us, harming the environment, and creating massive profits for corporations. Having the water slowly spill and be wasted was also an intentional choice.
